Mission Statement

The mission of Himalayan Open Golf (HOG) is to cultivate, promote, and advance a vibrant community centered around the sport of golf by uniting the Nepalese community across the United States
and Nepal, fostering cultural exchange, ethical sportsmanship, and charitable initiatives, while encouraging, motivating, and inspiring Nepalese children and youth to participate in and excel at the game of golf.

Vision Statement

HIMALAYAN OPEN GOLF envisions a future where golf serves as a bridge between Nepal and the Nepalese diaspora worldwide, strengthening unity, pride, and shared purpose. We aspire to build a global Nepalese golf community that not only celebrates culture and ethical sportsmanship, but also actively nurtures the next generation of Nepalese golfers, empowering children and youth with access, mentorship, and opportunities to excel both on and off the course.
